Dialbrew vs Pipedrive

An integration, not a rival. Pipedrive owns the deal; Dialbrew owns the SDR operation and writes bookings into it.

Integration, not competition

Dialbrew pushes booked meetings into Pipedrive at the customer level: each of your clients connects their own Pipedrive account and selects the deal stage that new bookings should land in. There is a self-service connect flow so the client can do it themselves rather than sending credentials to your account manager.

The design assumption is that in an agency operation there is no single CRM. Your clients each have their own, they are not all the same product, and your reps should not have to care. A rep books the meeting once in Dialbrew; the record appears in whichever CRM that client runs.

What each system owns

Pipedrive Dialbrew
Deals, pipeline, forecast Owns it Pushes bookings into it
Contact and organisation records Owns it Keeps account-scoped prospect companies/contacts for outbound work
Activity history on a deal Owns it Keeps a per-lead activity timeline (call/SMS/email/note) with recordings
Who is rostered on which client project — Owns it
Capacity and six-week forecasting — Owns it
Booking outcome driving money — Owns it
SDR commission and payment state — Owns it
Client invoicing — Owns it (Procountor)
Client-facing portal — Owns it

The outbound layer Pipedrive is not built to be

A CRM is organised around the deal. An outbound SDR operation needs things organised around the list and the dial:

  • Prospect lists per client project, with depletion alerting when a list runs dry.
  • Lead reservation — a soft lock with an expiry so two reps never work the same company, plus a job that releases stale holds.
  • Import hygiene — E.164 phone normalisation, dedup, and per-client DNC filtering at import time.
  • Phone quality as data — a status recomputed over time, and phone origin recorded on the lead, so bad numbers are measurable rather than anecdotal.
  • Call infrastructure — VoIP numbers assigned to users, recordings, transcripts, scripts and script A/B tests.

None of that is a criticism of Pipedrive. It is simply a different job, done by a different system, which then writes its results into the CRM.

Recommendation

If you already run Pipedrive, keep it and connect it. If your clients run Pipedrive, they can connect their own. Dialbrew assumes the CRM exists and is somebody else’s system of record.
